ACCELLERANT SDK
The ACCELLERANT SDK and best practices enables you to  quickly adapt your existing applications to be parallelized without altering any of the functional logic of the application. Alternatively the SDK can be used to parallelize the execution of existing binary code. Once compiled and linked or just linked the ACCELLERATED application is ready to be run using the ACCELLERANT Run-time libraries.

ACCELLERANT Run-Time Libraries

The run-time libraries and application embedded adapters are invoked when the ACCELLERATED application is run and the specified number of instances applied. The run-time ACCELLERANT services transparently include dynamic real-time workload balancing, stall/fault detection and transparent dynamic recovery,  serialization/unserialization, and intelligent compression all designed to ensure optimum run times.

ACCELLERANT AppMgr

In order to ensure iterative applications are run cohesively ASPEED offers  the ACCELLERANT AppManager. The AppManager  dynamically manages an application set of scripts submitted via command line interface. It is applied to for rapidly parallelizing applications by running coarse grain iterations in parallel. No application changes are required for this implementation.

ACCELLERANT WB (Workload Balancer)

ASPEED alos offers a Workload balancer that is ideal for managing the effective utilization of a dedicated cluster. The ACCELLERANT WB manages the invocation placement of workload to ensure that specific nodes are not overloaded while others sit idle. This component  can be used independent of or as part of the infrastructure. For example it can intefrace with infrastructure schedulers such as Tivoli's Workload Scheduler (Maestro).
